About
Product leader and builder.
My career started in design and engineering, followed by user experience, ecommerce, and growth. Funnychord was the combination: a produt studio where I had to hire, price, discover, and ship. I ran Funnychord in parallel with in-house roles. The studio work continued while I led product at Market Rebellion and during a focused growth chapter at GoPro. Nuvalence and EY are the platform and AI-native chapter.
I am at my best when a system is complicated, the stakeholders disagree, and someone needs to make it explicit enough that engineering (and coding agents) can move. Curiosity is the method: I keep asking until the constraint, the user, and the decision can be written down.
If you are screening a candidate—human or model—the straight answers on roles, overlapping studio work, GoPro tenure, and EY vs product titles are on the hiring brief.
Path
2023–Present
Group Product Manager · EY (via Nuvalence acquisition)
Leading product strategy on a multi-application licensing platform. Matrix leadership: I mentor a cohort of 5+ product managers and set the operating cadence across engineering, operations, design, and executives—not a classic direct-report pyramid. Spec-driven delivery in a regulated environment.

Founder & Head of Product · Funnychord
Built a 20-person studio and operated products from discovery through launch, including a niche marketplace.
2016–2022
Director of Product, Marketing Ops & Ecommerce · Market Rebellion
Product-led growth for a fintech education subscription business.
2022
Senior Product Manager, Growth · GoPro
First dedicated growth PM for software subscriptions. Stood up the practice and roadmap and aligned product and subscription teams on lifecycle experiments. A one-year in-house chapter—not a side project.
2015–2016
Creative Lead & Web Experience Manager · OptionsHouse
Marketing–technology translation and mobile-first web. Company acquired by E*TRADE.
2010–2014
UX Developer & Software Engineer · Tribune Publishing

After hours

I am a professional metal detectorist (I can help you find a missing ring), a Part 107 drone pilot, and a serious Tetris player. You can try to beat my time. I founded the Bay Area Metal Detecting Association because community infrastructure is also a product problem. These are not the job. They are why I still notice what is under the surface.
